To test the response rate to a competition being advertised purely within a mobile channel environment. 

Methodology

Users stood a chance to win R100K in shopping vouchers when they sms a key word to a short code. The campaign was only advertised ONCE within a mobile channel environment to 400.000 subscribers.

Result

2.254 entries were recorded on the day on which the ad was broadcast.
